"BIG FUZZ got off to a fast start [and now] he's clawing his way back."
— Alan Cross (Corus Radio), 03/2026
BIG FUZZ is the "immaculately gritty" (!earshot, 01/2026) creation of producer & multi-instrumentalist Anthony Cenerini.
After landing festival bills from Rifflandia to Treefort Music Fest to Winterruption YYQ, BIG FUZZ was poised to be "...the next big touring project out of BC" (Rocktographers, 09/2023).
Then, within the span of weeks, everything came to a grinding halt—a serious injury left Cenerini unable to walk, and an eviction forced him from the West Coast back to his hometown of Winnipeg, MB.
As you might guess with a name like BIG FUZZ, staying quiet was never the plan. Cenerini reemerged with a chip on his shoulder in January 2026, releasing the single "FEARS", his first as a solo artist performing all instruments.
Drawing upon years as a full-time producer and multi-instrumentalist with Juno-nominated collaborations and stints with Canadian touring acts, it didn't take much to make a bit of noise. "FEARS" received early features from The Manitoban and !earshot before landing on Alan Cross's Five Songs You Must Hear, syndicated across Corus Radio rock stations across Canada.
Second single "I'M ONLY DROWNING" followed in March, with a debut EP to release in Q3 2026.
