BIG FUZZ Confronts Social Anxiety Head-On with New Single "FEARS"

Self-produced single out January 16, 2026

WINNIPEG, MB — BIG FUZZ is back with "FEARS," a driving rock single about the exhausting internal battle of social anxiety: the fight to keep it all together, the weight of holding it in, and the self-blame when it spills out anyway.

For founder Anthony Cenerini, who has long dealt with social anxiety himself, the song is personal.

It's also the first release since BIG FUZZ became a solo project.

After a couple of fast-paced years playing festivals across the country—from Rifflandia in Victoria, BC to the polar bear capital of Churchill, Manitoba—everything came to a grinding halt. An injury left Cenerini stranded on Vancouver Island, unable to walk. Weeks later, he was evicted from his home on the West Coast. The only thing left to do was pack his life into a friend's semi trailer and head back to his hometown of Winnipeg.

For Cenerini, a full-time producer and multi-instrumentalist with Juno-nominated credits to his name, starting over just meant getting back to work. He wrote, performed, and produced "FEARS" entirely himself at The Foxhole Recording Studio, his Winnipeg production home base, playing every instrument on the track.

"FEARS" drops January 16 on all major streaming platforms.

A live in-studio video is already up on YouTube, with a lyric video to follow on January 20.
