BIG FUZZ Follows Up Breakout Single with "I'M ONLY DROWNING"
Second self-produced single out March 6
WINNIPEG, MB — BIG FUZZ returns with "I'M ONLY DROWNING," a driving new single about resilience—and the fact that it's rarely something we choose. It's about the fear that any closeness, romantic or not, can crumble in an instant. It's about needing to come up for air but being weighed down by the expectations around you. And it's about remembering that we all started out completely helpless; anything else is learned.
The track follows "FEARS," which earned features from Manitoba Music, Earshot Digital, and The Manitoban, along with adds at campus and community radio stations across Canada. For founder Anthony Cenerini, who rebooted BIG FUZZ as a solo project after injury and upheaval forced him back to his hometown of Winnipeg, the early response has been a welcome surprise.
Like its predecessor, "I'M ONLY DROWNING" was written, performed, and produced entirely by Cenerini at The Foxhole Recording Studio, his Winnipeg production home base, playing every instrument on the track. A live in-studio video is already up on YouTube. The single arrives ahead of an EP slated for spring.
"I'M ONLY DROWNING" drops March 6 on all major streaming platforms.
